So I realised that one of my best friends is leaving in 4 days, almost 3 now. Holy Crap. I didn't even start my holiday project but I have been thinking of creating my own characters based off of Calvin and Hobbes. Called Ben and Diggle. Diggle is a young boy who is very lazy and constantly bored and Ben is his dinosaur. Yes, dinosaur. I haven't decided if Ben will talk yet, but I do know that he loves eating. Sandwiches in particular. He's big enough for Diggle to ride on his back but small enough to be considered 'cute'.
How Ben comes to be is also something I haven't decided on yet, he might be made of clouds... Which sounds odd.
Also like Calvin and Hobbes, Ben and Diggle will star in small comics. Some will be short one shots but also some will follow a small story line. Like Calvin (who avoids baths and homework), Diggle will have small adventures to avoid something he dislikes doing. Again, I haven't decided.
On a less planning note: I had Copic Markers under my tree for christmas! Only a small amount (7 of them) But I love them and am trying to figure out how to use them properly.
Almost a month since my last update, sorry about that. Hopefully I'll be more active and add more drawings and photos.
